The alexandraapple boutique opened in 2008 in the West Lynn Village by designer and owner Alex Carter.
alexandraapple is now located at 19/5 Millais st, Ponsonby.
After six and a half years of working for Vanilla Ink, Alex thought it was time to step out on her own. As well as Alex’s own label alexandraapple, the store stocks Cerrisi leather work, Elk Jewelry, Platinum Body basics and knitwear from New Zealand label, Revel.
alexandraapple is not aimed at a particular age group, just for women who like to dress femininely without too much fuss or frill. Each season has its own theme and direction, but each range consistently makes use of fabrics that drape to each individual body, strong colours and bold prints.
As well as what is offered off the rack, Alex offers an orders service which allows her customers the ability to order one of her designs in a differing colour, the addition of a sleeve or length, so that one can find the perfect addition to their wardrobe.
With limited runs of garments, patterns and colours, there is always constant change in the alexandraapple boutique, with new styles arriving throughout the season.
